  • PL-500: Course Objectives

    This learning path includes:

    • An overview of the Robotic Process Automation in Power Platform. It also includes an introduction to developer resources and process mining.
    • How to build cloud flows, expressions, error handling, troubleshooting and HTTP connectors in Power Automate.
    • Essential skills in Power Automate for desktop, including building and configuring flows, handling variables, defining parameters, automating tasks with loops, and scripting. You’ll also learn web automation, recording flows, and managing exceptions and errors.
    • How to use gateways to connect desktop flows to various technologies and cloud services, and how to maximise the use of robotic process automation (RPA). It also covers how and Custom connectors in Power Platform and explains how to configure and use them with apps and flows.
  • PL-500: Prerequisites

    Candidates should have experience with JSON, cloud flows and Azure services, integrating solutions with REST and SOAP services, analysing data by using Microsoft Excel, VBScript, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), HTML, JavaScript, one or more programming languages, and the Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools (AI Builder, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Virtual Agents).
